About the app

AI Tutor takes a question, spoken or typed, and returns an educational illustration that explains the concept visually. It covers more than thirty subjects, from maths and science through to art and astronomy.

The app runs three distinct profiles. Teachers create and share visual content with a class code and can pull resources from a shared drop box. Parents import material from photos or files and follow progress. Students explore subjects on their own, earning XP, badges and levels as they go.

Speech input works in ten languages and is processed on the device. Content syncs across iPhone, iPad and Mac, so a lesson started on one device is finished on another.

The story

Children retain a diagram better than a paragraph, and a parent explaining photosynthesis at the kitchen table rarely has a diagram to hand. AI Tutor was built to close that gap in the moment it happens: ask the question out loud, get a picture back, keep talking. The three profiles exist because the same explanation is needed by a teacher preparing a class, a parent filling a holiday afternoon and a child following their own curiosity.

About the developer

Sylvain Corvaisier has been writing native Apple software since the first public iPhone SDK in 2008. He works from Rennes, France, under SAS Corvaisier, and has published 21 apps across 7 platforms, from iPhone and iPad through to Apple Watch, Mac, Apple TV, Android, Fire TV and Roku. Everything is built natively, one platform at a time, with no cross-platform wrapper in between. He also runs Vendredi App, a monthly workshop in Rennes where a working app ships in an afternoon.
