About the app

Paste a product or service link, or share a page from Safari, choose a duration of six, fifteen or thirty seconds and the formats you need. The app designs and renders the ad and notifies you when it is ready.

One pass produces landscape 16:9, vertical 9:16, square 1:1 and cinema 4K, which covers YouTube, TikTok, Reels, Shorts, Instagram and FAST TV without a second edit. Closed captions come with them.

An optional brand book as a PDF plus a logo lets the render match your colours and style. Pricing is per ad with the price shown up front, and the first ad is free if you bring your own Anthropic API key. Finished ads can be used as preroll or midroll on My TV Channel.

The story

A small business with a good product page already owns everything an ad needs: the images, the claims, the price and the tone. What it does not own is an editor, and the gap between having the material and having a postable video is where most campaigns die. Video Ad Maker treats the product page as the brief and hands back every aspect ratio at once, because the reason ads do not get posted is rarely the idea.

About the developer

Sylvain Corvaisier has been writing native Apple software since the first public iPhone SDK in 2008. He works from Rennes, France, under SAS Corvaisier, and has published 21 apps across 7 platforms, from iPhone and iPad through to Apple Watch, Mac, Apple TV, Android, Fire TV and Roku. Everything is built natively, one platform at a time, with no cross-platform wrapper in between. He also runs Vendredi App, a monthly workshop in Rennes where a working app ships in an afternoon.
