About the app
Search YouTube for a karaoke video and sing. The video plays while your voice is captured separately, so the replay layers your take over the original. Recordings stay on the device and only leave it if you share them.
Sharing is a link. Friends open it in the app, listen and score you one of four ways: an applause meter, a judge panel, emoji reactions or a classic one-to-five rating. Per-song leaderboards decide who actually has the pipes.
Chaos Mode is the party trick: put on headphones, switch it on, and something happens to your voice that makes staying on the melody nearly impossible. For a karaoke night, playlists can be built ahead of time, shared by link, and everyone sings on their own device. AirPlay puts the video on the TV while the phone handles the mic.

The story
A karaoke machine is a piece of furniture nobody owns, while the world’s largest karaoke library has been sitting on YouTube for a decade. The missing pieces were a separate voice track and a reason to share the result, which is where the scoring comes in: a recording nobody judges is a recording nobody sends. Chaos Mode was added for the same reason a party needs a game rather than a queue.
About the developer
Sylvain Corvaisier has been writing native Apple software since the first public iPhone SDK in 2008. He works from Rennes, France, under SAS Corvaisier, and has published 21 apps across 7 platforms, from iPhone and iPad through to Apple Watch, Mac, Apple TV, Android, Fire TV and Roku. Everything is built natively, one platform at a time, with no cross-platform wrapper in between. He also runs Vendredi App, a monthly workshop in Rennes where a working app ships in an afternoon.
