About the app
Hedonist has been behind the decks since 1996, blending the hypnotic and melodic sides of techno and house. The app is the direct line to that: a notification the moment a set goes live, then lossless ALAC playback wherever you are.
The back catalogue is free through Mixcloud, covering recorded sets from venues around the world and from the home studio. Premium sets are sold individually as 24-bit, 48 kHz ALAC, streamable or downloadable for offline listening, and tied to your Apple ID so they restore on every device.
Upcoming gigs list venue details, show the location on a map and add to your calendar in a tap. No account is required.

- Free access to the Mixcloud archive of past sets
- Premium sets in 24-bit, 48 kHz ALAC, bought once and owned

- Upcoming events with venue map and one-tap calendar add
The story
A DJ with thirty years behind the decks accumulates an audience spread across platforms that each take a cut and each decide who sees a post. A single app collapses that into one channel the artist controls: the notification goes to people who asked for it, the archive stays free, and the recordings that took real studio work are sold directly. The lossless format is the point rather than a feature, because a set compressed to a social stream is not the set that was played.
About the developer
Sylvain Corvaisier has been writing native Apple software since the first public iPhone SDK in 2008. He works from Rennes, France, under SAS Corvaisier, and has published 21 apps across 7 platforms, from iPhone and iPad through to Apple Watch, Mac, Apple TV, Android, Fire TV and Roku. Everything is built natively, one platform at a time, with no cross-platform wrapper in between. He also runs Vendredi App, a monthly workshop in Rennes where a working app ships in an afternoon.
